Locations

The UBC Division of Rheumatology encompasses practicing rheumatologists, researchers and educators affiliated with the University of British Columbia.

Training sites include St. Paul’s Hospital, Vancouver General Hospital, Mary Pack Arthritis Centre, and BC Children’s Hospital in Vancouver, and Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster.


The Mary Pack Arthritis Centre houses the Mary Pack Arthritis Program (MPAP), part of Vancouver Coastal Health. MPAP is British Columbia’s Provincial Arthritis Program, which includes four sites (Vancouver, Victoria, Penticton, Cranbrook), as well as many traveling clinics throughout the province. The MPAP includes quaternary specialty rheumatology clinics such as a lupus clinic, vasculitis clinic, oral medicine and young adult transition clinic as well as a biologic infusion and advanced therapeutics clinic. The MPAP has expert arthritis physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses and other dedicated allied health professionals and administrative staff who take care of patients with inflammatory arthritis and autoimmune diseases from all over the province.
